Art is my escape. Painting allows me to be in my own little space after a busy day of chasing my beautiful children around
the house. I used to live such a controlled type of lifestyle (working for a corporation). This is a breath of fresh air for
me now. I always used to joke when I went to my 9 to 5 job that someday I'd run away and become a bohemian artist. Over the
years I have unconciously become just that.
Born and raised in Northern California, I am fortunate to live in a place
close to just about everything - quaint coastal communities, the rugged mountains, the silicon valley, and San Francisco.
Although I enjoy living where I do, my heart resides in the islands of Hawaii. As a young girl my parents and I frequently
visited the islands and my memories are quite often the inspiration for my paintings.
I am a self-taught artist who
has learned through practice, patience, and experimentation. I have been drawing, painting, sewing, creating for as long as
I can remember.
My dream is to have a small tiki hut art studio in Maui that I could call my own. I can't wait...
